The President of Uzbekistan decided to relax the state of emergency imposed in Karakalpakstan, namely curfew time was shortened “from 23:00 to 5:00” instead of “from 21:00 to 07:00”.
This was announced by the spokesman of the President Sherzod Asadov.
The decision was prompted by the “stabilization of the situation in Karakalpakstan and the return of life to its usual course,” he added.
The amendments to the presidential decree on the state of emergency in Karakalpakstan for a month dated July 2, 2022 was signed and sent for approval to the chambers of the parliament.
