Five rocket projectiles were reported to have been launched at about 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday onto the border area of Uzbekistan from the territory of Afghanistan.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the shells did not explode, and therefore there were no human casualties and no destruction.
Minor damage was caused to Majnuntol mahalla homes of Termez city, the fifth projectile was found on a football field. The shells were neutralized by a sapper unit.
Currently, the relevant authorities of Uzbekistan, together with the Afghan side, are implementing the necessary measures to establish the causes of this incident.
