The Senate will convene for the twenty-eighth plenary session on July 8, the Senate said. Senators will consider the Consulting activities Bill, Protection of the population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies Bill and Amendments and additions to the Tax Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bill.
In addition, it is planned to hear reports from the Cabinet of Ministers on fulfillment of the state budget in 2021 and in Q1 of 2022.
The senators will also discuss the issues of sending parliamentary requests to the government on cleaning up riverbeds and strengthening their banks, the negative impact of mining of non-metallic minerals on environmental objects, water and road facilities, and the implementation of localization programs in the manufacturing sector of the economy.
The Senate will consider the results of parliamentary inquiries sent to the Cabinet of Ministers regarding ensuring the growth of exports and diversifying its range, the safety of vehicles equipped with gas cylinders, as well as the state of medical care provided to pregnant women and women of reproductive age and babies.
