Permit for tinting the rear side windows of cars will be cancelled as of July 1, announced the presidential spokesman Sherzod Asadov on Tuesday.
Currently the tinting of rear side windows costs 10 basic settlement units (10 BSU = 3 million soums) - for individuals and legal entities, as well as 20 BSUs for foreign legal entities (6 million soums).
The cost of permit to tint front side windows will be cut to 8 BSUs (2.4 million soums). Now it is at 50 BSUs (15 million soums).
Shavkat Mirziyoyev, reporting on the signing of the resolution, said that it would "cheer up drivers and passengers." “Every reform, proposal and initiative is primarily for the sake of human dignity,” he said.
