Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is set to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan in the second half of June. Ahead of the visit, the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan and the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan organized a trip for Uzbek journalists to get acquainted with the culture, historical sites, as well as the customs and traditions of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the journalists talked with the deputy chairman of the agency, Faik Guliyev, who said: "Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on June 21-22."
In mid-May, Ilham Aliyev hosted a delegation led by the speaker of the Legislative Chamber, Nurdinjon Ismoilov, who offered him an invitation from Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Uzbekistan.
