The Cabinet of Ministers issued a Resolution approving the Regulation on procedure for interaction of local non-governmental non-profit organizations with government bodies in the implementation of international grant projects.
According to Norma, the Regulation provides for the following procedures:
- involvement of relevant government body to provide practical assistance in the implementation of international grant projects of local NGOs;
- approval of "road maps" for the implementation of international grant projects, taking into account national interests;
- practical assistance of the national partner in achieving the quality and timeliness of project implementation, in monitoring its results, as well as in ensuring the involvement of interested organizations in this process.
Territorial branches of justice shall submit information to the Ministry of Justice in written or electronic form within two working days from the date of receipt of notification of receipt of funds from NGOs.
The Ministry of Justice notifies the Ministry of Foreign Affairs no later than two working days of the receipt of funds for NGO grant projects. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, within five working days, submits to the Ministry of Justice an appropriate conclusion on a grant project, which is planned to be financed by foreign persons.
After that, within two days, the Ministry of Justice takes measures to attach a national partner to this NGO to provide practical assistance and cooperation in the implementation of the grant project.
