On June 12, a resident of Langar village, Chirakchi district, Kashkadarya province, applied to the provincial emergency department. He said that at about 13:30 he was digging up the earth in his field, and at that time his six-year-old son fell into a waterless artesian well with a diameter of 200 mm.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, rescuers immediately arrived at the scene. Special equipment, excavators and graders were involved in the work. The Ministry of Emergency Situations published a footage showing how the rescue operation took place.

The child was pulled out of the pit 25 m deep the next day at 10:25. Despite the fact that he spent almost a day there, the boy feels well, he was provided with the necessary medical assistance.
