Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev met with Prosecutor General of Turkey Bekir Şahin at the Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on prospects for further development of interagency cooperation. 

The main event of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Prosecutor General's Office and the Prosecutor General's Office of the Supreme Court of Turkey. 

Reportedly, the MoU will serve to upgrade the bilateral partnership to a new level through the exchange of best practices in the areas of activity of the prosecutor's office. 

At the end of the meeting, Bekir Şahin was awarded the badge "Honorary Officer of the Prosecutor's Office of Uzbekistan" for his contribution to the development of interagency cooperation. 

Afterwards, an excursion to the Prosecutor General's Office was organized for the members of the Turkish delegation. 

The next address was the Academy of the Prosecutor General's Office, where members of the delegation were closely acquainted with the activities of the academy. 

Members of the Turkish delegation visited the New Uzbekistan Park, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence. 

The Minister of Justice of Uzbekistan Ruslan Davletov and the Chairman of the Supreme Court Kozim Kamilov also met with the Prosecutor General of the Supreme Court of Turkey Bekir Şahin.
