Imports of wheat flour hiked by 22,000 tons, the State Statistics Committee said in a report. Reportedly, in January-March 2022, Uzbekistan imported 92.6 thousand tons of wheat flour worth $ 28.8 million.
Imports of wheat flour increased by 22,000 tons compared to the same period last year.
In January-March 2022, Kazakhstan, on 91.2 thousand tons, was the top exporter of wheat flour to Uzbekistan.
Kazakhstan was followed by:
Russia - 1.3 thousand tons;
USA - 50 tons;
Italy - 12.4 tons;
France - 1.8 tons.
In January-March 2022, Uzbekistan imported $ 201.6 million worth of wheat from Kazakhstan.
