The mayor of Angren city, Tashkent province, Nuritdin Abdurahimov, died due to an illness, the press service of the provincial governor’s office said. Nuritdin Abdurahimov was appointed the Angren city mayor in January. He was born in 1978 in the Pskent district of Tashkent province.
Nuritdin Abdurahimov graduated from the Tashkent Financial Institute (bachelor's degree - 1999, master's degree - 2001).
Over the years, he worked at the State Committee for State Property Management, the Uzkimyosanoat, and the Ministry of Economy.
Prior to his appointment as the mayor, since 2018 he was a lead consultant in the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan.
