The International Agricultural University will open in Tashkent this year. It is being created by the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan jointly with the Royal Agriculture University of the UK.
The University graduates will receive a diploma from the RAU, the oldest agricultural university in the UK, founded in 1845 and under the royal patronage of the Prince of Wales.
As per the May 7decree of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the university shall be granted full academic and financial independence.
From the 2022/2023 academic year the University will offer programs in smart agriculture, agronomy, biotechnology, agroeconomics, livestock development, food security, agrologistics. In the future, graduate and doctoral studies will be launched.
