On the occasion of the Eid-al-Fitr next week Uzbeks will have five days off. This became known during the government meeting chaired by Shavkat Mirziyoyev on April 26, President’s spokesman Sherzod Asadov said.

This is an additional opportunity for the development of domestic tourism in provinces, he added.

President by his decree established additional days off and rescheduled some days off.

So, for those who have a five-day work week, days off are rescheduled as follows:

from May 7 (Saturday) to May 4 (Wednesday);

from May 14 (Saturday) to May 5 (Thursday).

For those who have a six-day work week, these days will become additional days off.

The exact dates will be known after the President signs a decree on the day of celebration of Eid-al-Fitr.
