Cars of beginner drivers will be marked with a special sign from May 1. This is provided for by the updated traffic rules (TR) of Uzbekistan, the traffic police reported.
As per the amendments in the TR, the “Beginner Driver” sign in the form of a yellow square (150 mm) with a black exclamation mark 110 mm high must be pasted on the rear window of a car whose drivers have less than two years of experience. Exceptions are tractors, self-propelled vehicles and motorcycles.
Installation of identification marks that are not included in the traffic rules, as well as the application of inscriptions on the body and windows of the car is prohibited. An exception is the application of inscriptions on the body for advertising purposes in the prescribed manner.
