On the eve of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr, a delegation from Uzbekistan visited Chechnya and conveyed to the head of the republic Ramzan Kadyrov congratulations from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and a memorable gift - a 3D painting of Poi Kalon Ensemble, the Chechen leader said on his Telegram channel.
Poi Kalon is an architectural ensemble in Bukhara, consisting of the Kalon minaret, the Kalon mosque and the Mir Arab madrasah.
“Renowned Muslim scolars studied in the latter, including Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov. My dear father always remembered the period of his studies in Bukhara only with kind words, spoke about the sincere and benevolent locals. He nourished tender feelings of the experienced youth for this place. This is a truly beautiful and unique place, which rightfully bears the title of one of the Eight Wonders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization,” said Ramzan Kadyrov.
He expressed gratitude to Shavkat Mirziyoyev "not only for congratulations, but also for fruitful cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia, for political and cultural cooperation."
“Undoubtedly, Shavkat Mirziyoyev does a lot for his country and people, establishes friendly relations, strengthens the position of Uzbekistan on the world stage. I am sure that Uzbeks are lucky to have such a noble president, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev was lucky to be at the head of such a wonderful people, ”said the head of Chechnya.
“Looking at the gift and I wonder where to put it. The President knows how to surprise,” wrote Ramzan Kadyrov.
