On April 21, at about 11:40 a.m., a man died from a fall from the ninth floor of the International Business Center in Tashkent’s Yunusabad district, the Prosecutor General's Office reported.
Reportedly, a 42-year-old man jumped from the open balcony. The District Prosecutor Office is investigating into the case.
The scene was cordoned off, journalists were not allowed inside.
The Prosecutor General's Office noted that the place was cordoned off in accordance with the criminal procedure legislation to establish the exact causes of the incident, to prevent the loss or damage of traces, evidence and other important items.
During the pre-investigation check, everyone is obliged to comply with the law and should not prevent this process from being carried out in a full, impartial and lawful manner.
