Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu hosted a delegation led by Secretary General of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan Viktor Makhmudov at the Security and Emergency Coordination Center (GAMER) of the Turkish Interior Ministry in Ankara.
They discussed the crisis in Syria, the war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, humanitarian assistance, the topic of combating terrorism, financial crimes and organized crime.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on the issue of training law enforcement officers, the topic of illegal migration, as well as cooperation in the field of combating natural disasters.
The meeting was also attended by Secretary General of the National Security Council of Turkey Seyfullah Hacimüftüoğlu.
