The twenty-fifth plenary session of the Senate will be convened on April 28 this year, the Senate said. Reportedly, during the two-day plenary session, which will be held via conference call, a number of issues will be considered.

Among them are the Postal communication Bill, Drinking water supply and sewage disposal Bill, Security activities Bill, Amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan international commercial arbitration, Amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of the management system for apartment buildings.

In addition, it is planned to discuss the Amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of the system of medical and social services in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of legislation on weapons, Amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of legislation on quarantine and plant protection.

The senators will also review the report of the Cabinet of Ministers on the results of the implementation in the first quarter of 2022 of the state program for the implementation of the New Uzbekistan’s Development Strategy for 2022-2026.

In addition, the senators will hear information from the Deputy Prime Minister on the state of guarantees for the activities of farms. The plenary session will also hear reports from the Accounts Chamber, the Central Bank, the Prosecutor General on activities in 2021, and information from the co-chair of the National Commission on Children's Issues on activities over the past period.

While, information from the Minister of Justice on the state of legal propaganda and education in 2021, as well as the results of studying the state of law enforcement, law enforcement practice and monitoring the adoption of by-laws will be considered.

At the plenary session, they plan to hear a report from the governor of Andijan province on the work to provide comprehensive support to the population in need of social protection, increase their income, and reduce poverty.

The senators will also consider the implementation of the Senate resolution Introduction of a rating system for the implementation of the state youth policy in provinces.
