On April 5, 2022, the Senate held a regular meeting of the National Anti-Corruption Council. Reportedly, compared to 2020, last year the number of cases sent to prosecutors and the judiciary increased by an average of 3 times. Every year, the state levies financial damage caused by corruption offenses.

"Health, education and banking remain the most corrupt areas," the Senate said in a statement.

The meeting also attendees focused on the anti-corruption examination of the legislation.

The anti-corruption examination found, there are 87 factors of corruption in 25 regulations in the field of public procurement and health care.

At the end of the meeting, the relevant decision of the National Council was adopted and roadmaps were approved for the implementation of the project Corruption-Free Sector in health, construction, higher education and public procurement in 2022-2023.
