On April 2, the Cabinet of Ministers issued the Introduction of a system of mandatory digital labelling of household appliances Resolution, Norma.uz reported.
In 2020, the National Information System for Monitoring Labeling and Traceability of Asl Belgisi Products was launched. The operator of the system was CRPT Turon, created by the Russian Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (CRPT), the single operator of the goods labeling system in Russia, whose shareholder is Alisher Usmanov's USM Holding.
The list of goods subject to mandatory labeling includes tobacco products, alcohol, beer, water and drinks, medicines and medical products, as well as household appliances.
The Resolution established the following timelines for the start of mandatory digital marking and types of products by groups:
- Group I - vacuum cleaners, washing machines, refrigerators and freezers, TVs and monitors - from April 15, 2022;
- Group II - household gas stoves, kitchen hoods, ovens and stoves, microwave ovens, irons, water heaters - from August 1, 2022;
- Group III - hot water boilers, air conditioners, built-in electrical appliances (juice extractor, blender, mixer, coffee grinder, meat grinder), all types of lamps - from November 1, 2022.
The Resolution approved:
- a list of identification codes for household appliances with mandatory digital marking;
- a schedule for the phased introduction of a system of mandatory digital marking for manufacturers of household appliances;
- a schedule for the phased introduction of a system of mandatory digital marking of household appliances by importing organizations;
- schedule for the phased transition of wholesale and retail trade organizations to the system of mandatory digital marking of household appliances;
Regulation on the features of digital marking of household appliances by devices of identification.
Marking codes for household appliances with mandatory digital marking shall be provided to manufacturers and importers of these products by the operator on the basis of a relevant order.
