On March 24, on the sidelines of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted a delegation of the United Arab Emirates headed by Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail al-Mazrui.
According to the presidential press service, during the meeting they discussed the ways to advance cooperation, primarily in the trade, investment, innovation, agriculture, infrastructure, logistics and transport in line with the agreements reached at the highest level.
The parties reportedly highly commended the fruits of cooperation in the field of green energy. Notably the UAE’s Masdar is implementing a number of major PV and wind power plants projects in Uzbekistan.
In addition, they emphasized the great potential for building up investment cooperation and implementing new promising projects in priority sectors.
