Two people were arrested for selling the land allocated by a special presidential decree in return of $ 800,000 on Thursday.
Reportedly, two people, 58 and 52, living in Tashkent province, entered into the trust of a citizen who wanted to start a business and agreed to sell him 4 hectares of land that did not belong to them in return of $ 800,000.
They were arrested red-handedly by DXX (State security service) officers and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes when they received $ 100,000 in advance.
In accordance with the Presidential Decree, this land was allocated from the territory of Bostanlyk district for the construction of multi-storey residential buildings, cottages and cultural and consumer services in 2021 under investment obligations to a local LLC.
