The Uzbek Embassy in Ukraine has temporarily relocated to Lviv, said the spokesman to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yusup Kabulzhanov.

The Embassy is continuing the evacuation of Uzbeks, he added.

Constant contacts are maintained with fellow countrymen in various regions of Ukraine, the Foreign Ministry assured.

In early March, he stated that the evacuating the Uzbek embassy from Kyiv was not being considered.

25 evacuation flights had been operated for Uzbeks from February 28 to March 10, in Ukraine, with a total of 5,634 compatriots evacuated from combat zones.
