Russia lifted restrictions for Uzbekistan-bound flights imposed due to the pandemic, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency said in statement.

Reportedly, in accordance with the decision of the Russian government, restrictions on irregular and regular flights to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Iran, previously introduced as part of preventing the spread of COVID-19, have been lifted as of March 9, 2022.

Flights will be operated in both directions on the basis of the provisions of bilateral intergovernmental agreements and separate agreements of the civil aviation authorities.

Meanwhile, airlines must comply with the resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia “On Ensuring Isolation to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19.”
