The total number of Uzbeks evacuated from Ukraine via Poland on 11 flights by March 4 has reached 2,579 people, announced the official representative of the Foreign Ministry Yusup Kabulzhanov.

Three more flights are expected from the Polish city of Katowice: on March 4 - at 14:30 and at 16:00 Tashkent time, on March 5 - at 3:00.

Now more than 1,480 Uzbeks are in Poland, 700 of them are located in the accumulation area of the state border of Poland, 780 people - at the Katowice airport.

“According to experts, Uzbekistan, among the few countries in the world, promptly launched the evacuation of its citizens from the combat zone. All repatriation flights are carried out free of charge,” Yusup Kabulzhanov said.
