The Legislative Chamber at a meeting on March 1 approved the candidacies of the new Minister for Emergency Situations and the Minister for Support of the Mahalla and Family, Nigoh Telegram channel, close to the Presidential Administration, reported.

Abdulla Kuldashev, 65, was approved for the post of head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, He had served since April 2018 as First Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations. Over the years, he also headed the Institute of Fire Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Samarkand province police Department (2011-2012), the Kashkadarya province police department (2009-2011), worked as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs (2004-2009), head of the GUPB of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (2000-2004).

Former acting Minister of Emergency Situations (since April 2018) Tursinkhan Khudaibergenov, 70, was approved as Acting Head of the Ministry for Support of the Mahalla and Family. He is a graduate of the Tashkent Pedagogical Institute (1974) and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR (1982). In 1974-1999, he held various positions in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 1999-2001 he was the head of the Khorezm province police department, in 2001-2006 - the State Advisor to the President on coordinating the activities of law enforcement and supervisory authorities, in 2006-2010 - the head of the Fergana province police department, since December 2016 - Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan.
