135,875 doses of the Russian Sputnik Light vaccine were delivered to Uzbekistan, bringing the total of this vaccine delivered to Uzbekistan to 343,375, the Ministry of Health said on Monday.
Sputnik Light is the first component of the Sputnik V vaccine and is an approved standalone single-component vaccine, which can be used as a booster.
In total, Uzbekistan purchased and received free of charge over 53.715 million doses of vaccines against coronavirus, including 2.4 million doses of AstraZeneca, 38.7 million doses of ZF-UZ-VAC2001, 1.3 million doses of Sputnik V , 6.3 million doses of Moderna, 2.6 million doses of Pfizer/BioNTech, and 1.9 million doses of Sinovac.
More than 44.9 million doses of jabs have already been administered in the mass vaccination.
