Uzbekistan Airways receives the delivery of the first Airbus A321LR long-haul aircraft, the Ministry of Transport said. Reportedly, Uzbekistan Airways has become the first operator in Central Asia to own this model of Airbus.

This 188-seater aircraft (16 business class and 172 economy seats) is equipped with CFM International LEAP-1A engines.

The A321LR is a long-haul version of the A320neo that can fly up to 7,400 km thanks to three additional fuel storage tanks.

Compared to previous generation aircraft models, the model’s fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, and operating costs per seat are reduced by 30 percent.

To date, more than 10,000 A320 aircraft have been delivered to more than 300 customers worldwide.
