On February 10, the Agreement between Uzbekistan and Spain on cooperation in the fight against crime, signed on November 5, 2013 in the city of Madrid, took effect, Dunyo news agency reported.
According to the Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the document is aimed at regulating cooperation in the fight against organized crime, terrorism, human trafficking, illegal migration, drug and arms trafficking, economic and information technology crimes, corruption and other types of crimes.
This agreement was approved in 2014 by the late President Islam Karimov.
