On February 11, the FSB received two e-mail from a man stating that his 44-year-old accomplice had planted backpacks with explosives in diplomatic missions. Examination by cynologists at all buildings found no explosives, with no evacuation conducted.

Moscow police are investigating after reports of "mining" the embassies and consulates of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the United States, TASS reported referring to law enforcement agencies.

The Central Bank of Russia and Red Square were also "mined". All buildings were examined by cynologists, explosives and explosive devices were not found. There was no evacuation.

“The police launched probes into these reports, the statement says.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has not yet commented on the above incident.
