961 coronavirus cases were officially confirmed in Uzbekistan on February 3, the Ministry of Health said. 457 cases were detected in Tashkent city. 116 cases were confirmed in Tashkent province, 71 - in Fergana province, 57 - in Samarkand province and 48 - in Surkhandarya.
The total score of official cases detected during the entire period of the pandemic exceeded 227 thousand.
During the day, 4 deaths from the consequences of COVID-19 were recorded, bringing the total number of officially registered deaths to 1,579.
