President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Beijing on February 4 to attend the opening ceremony of the 2022 Winter Olympics, the presidential press service said.
At the Beijing Shoudu International Airport he was welcomed by officials of the People's Republic of China.
The opening ceremony of the Games will take place on Friday evening at the Beijing National Stadium also known as the Bird's Nest at 17:00 Tashkent time. The alpine skier Komiljon Tukhtaev is the only athlete to represent Uzbekistan in the Olympics.
