On February 1, Tashkent received the deliver the first batch of 20 electric buses intended for the Toshshahartranskhizmat company, the company's press service said. Electric buses of the ZK6128BEVG model are produced by the Chinese Yutong Bus.
Toshshahartranskhizmat assured that electric buses will be on the routes in the coming days.
Together with the electric buses, 10 chargers were also delivered.
A reported on January 20, in 2022 it was planned to purchase 390 buses for 741.4 billion soums and 20 electric buses worth $6 million for Tashkent.
In 2023-2025, it is planned to purchase another 653 buses and electric buses.
