At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, leaders of several states and heads of governments, as well as leading international organizations will attend the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing on February 4, Dunyo reported.
The Chinese President will attend will host a welcome banquet for foreign leaders, heads of government, members of royal families and heads of international organizations.
Among the guests are the leaders of Uzbekistan, Singapore, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Egypt, Poland, Argentina, the King of Cambodia, the Emir of Qatar, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the leaders of several other states, President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach, Secretary General of the United Nations António Guterres, Director General of the World Health Organization Tedros Ghebreyesus.
The Olympic Games in Beijing will be held from February 4 to 20, the Paralympics - March 4-13.
