A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul and the Association for the Rights of Uzbek Women, established to protect the rights of Uzbek women in Turkey, Dunyo news agency reported.
As a result of cooperation in a short period of time, with the support of our active citizens, more than 30 women received targeted assistance. In particular, the return of 10 victims of human trafficking to Uzbekistan, the restoration of wages for five women in Turkey, the repatriation of two patients treated in Istanbul hospitals, the provision of temporary jobs for four people and other issues were ensured.
The parties agreed on an action plan to upgarde the existing cooperation to a new legal level.
