President’s Joining International Treaty Decree was adopted. According to the document, Uzbekistan joined the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access for the Blind and Persons with Visual Impairments or Other Disabilities to Perceive Printed Information (June 27, 2013, Marrakesh).
The Information and Mass Communications Agency has been appointed as the authorized body responsible for the implementation of this international treaty.
The Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of relevant ministries and departments shall ensure the fulfillment of the obligations of Uzbekistan after the entry into force of this international treaty.
