UK will begin to officially recognize vaccination certificates issued in Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Embassy in London said on Friday.

The UK government website posted the list of countries whose certificates are recognized in the country, which said that Uzbekistan will be added to the list at 4 am on January 10.

The vaccination certificate is valid if the holder of the document has completed a full course of vaccination at least 14 days before arrival in UK with one of the following vaccines:

  • Covaxin;
  • Moderna;
  • Janssen (single dose);
  • Novavax (Nuvaxovid and Covovax);
  • AstraZeneca;
  • Pfizer / BioNTech;
  • Sinopharm Beijing;
  • Sinovac-CoronaVac.

The Chinese-Uzbek vaccine ZF-UZ-VAC 2001, which is the most widely used in Uzbekistan, is not on the list.

The recognition of the certificate allows vaccinated Uzbeks to enter England without presenting a PCR test for coronavirus and exempts them from the requirement to undergo 10-day quarantine.

In addition, instead of a PCR test, on the second day after arrival, it is necessary to pass only Lateral Flow Test, which is much cheaper.

More information is available in English on the UK government website.
