President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the presidential press service said in a statement on Thursday.
Reportedly, the heads of state exchanged views on the development of the situation in Kazakhstan, measures taken to stabilize the situation and restore peace and tranquility in the country as soon as possible.
The Uzbek leader "once again confirmed the unwavering support to the fraternal people and the leadership of Kazakhstan in their striving to ensure stability and prosperity in the country," the statement concluded.
