One of the items of the draft Roadmap of the Development Strategy for 2022-2026 proposed to open new consulates of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2022.

In particular, consulates general of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be opened in Samara, Astrakhan, Tula, Kaliningrad and Nizhny Novgorod in the Russian Federation, Shymkent in Kazakhstan, Prague in the Czech Republic, Ottawa in Canada and Busan in the Republic of Korea.

It is also planned to increase the staff of the Consulates General of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation (St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg), the US Consulates General in New York and Frankfurt am Main in Germany.

One new consular position will be added in the embassies in the Russian Federation, Poland and the United Arab Emirates.
