On April 18, 2017, the Uzbek Foreign Minister, Abdulaziz Kamilov received the U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Pamela Leora Spratlen.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of the Uzbek-American ties in the political, trade-economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other areas.
The sides also discussed the schedule and agenda of bilateral contacts at various levels scheduled for 2017, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
