Traditional Presidential gifts for the New Year were sent to the provinces. They are intended for inmates of orphanages, family orphanages, SOS Children's Villages and children left without parental care.
According to the Ministry of Public Education, sets for children under 12 included 21 types of gifts, including sweets, school supplies and children's encyclopedia. Children over 12 years old - 980 children from child care institutions - will receive a G-Tab tablet.
A total of 9070 sets of gifts were formed. They were delivered to 10 provinces by air, to Tashkent, Syrdarya and Jizzakh provinces - by cars. Gifts will be delivered on December 29-30.
