Ceremony of presenting credentials by newly appointed foreign ambassadors to Uzbekistan took place today, the presidential press service said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev received credentials from the ambassadors of Latvia Reinis Trokša, of Hungary Gyula Kovács, of France Aurélia Bouchez and Saudi Arabia Yousef al-Otaiba.
The head of state congratulated the ambassadors on the start of their diplomatic posting in Uzbekistan and wished them success.
In his remarks, the President eted that it was important for Uzbekistan to expand partnerships with other countries and international organizations, and also stressed that the country was committed to continuing democratic transformations.
