Zoyir Mirzaev, who was relieved of his post as khokim of the Kashkadarya region, will be appointed as the Tashkent province governor. This information was confirmed by the press service of the Kashkadarya province governor office, Akhror Sodiqov.
According to him, Zoyir Mirzaev's new place of work was announced on Thursday at a meeting at the Kashkadarya province with the participation of the head of the Presidential Administration Zainilobiddin Nizomiddinov.
Confirmation in the new position is expected in the coming hours at the session of the Tashkent province council of People's Deputies.
Murotjon Azimov, who had previously worked as chairman of the State Customs Committee, was appointed as the acting governor of Kashkadarya province.
Since January, the Tashkent province had been headed by Davron Khidoyatov, before that he was the first deputy Tashkent mayor in charge of architecture, capital construction and the development of communications.
