The Senate convened the twenty-first plenary session on November 18, the Senate said. The senators will review the constitutional State of Emergency Bill, the Hydrometeorological Activities Law and amendments to the Protection of Consumer Rights Law.

In addition, changes and amendments to the legislation will be discussed in connection with the improvement of legislation on citizenship, on intellectual property objects, the quarantine and plant protection system, as well as the adoption of additional measures to ensure the guarantees of the rights of women who find themselves in a difficult social situation.

The senators will consider amendments and additions to the Administrative Code Liability due to the liberalization of administrative penalties for committing some offenses in the transport and financial spheres.

It is planned to hear information from the director of the National Center for Human Rights on the status of implementation of Uzbekistan's international obligations in the field of human rights.

The senators will also consider the results of the parliamentary inquiry sent to the Cabinet of Ministers on the problems of providing the population with drinking water.

At the same time, the issue of sending parliamentary requests to the government on the state of medical care provided to pregnant women and women of reproductive age, as well as infants, and on increasing the responsibility of employers on issues related to labor relations of women in the light industry and the leather industry will be discussed.
