Uzbekistan will prepare a document on mutual recognition with Russia of vaccination certificates against coronavirus by mid-November. the chief of the Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Authority, Bakhodir Yusupaliev said.

"Further, it is proposed to send [the document] to the Russian authorities to consider the mutual recognition of certificates," Bakhodir Yusupaliev said, answering a question about the possible timing of mutual recognition of vaccination certificates between the two countries.

He clarified that the document is a standard one, which was prepared for the recognition of vaccination certificates, both from the Russian Federation and other CIS countries and other countries.

“And then it already depends on how these countries, in particular, the Russian Federation, will react to this proposal to recognize the certificates,” added Bakhodir Yusupaliev.

Note that recently, in the app "Traveling without COVID-19" which is used to enter Russia, it became possible to select the country in which the user was vaccinated. The list includes Uzbekistan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

The President Shavkat Mirziyoyev put forward a proposal on mutual recognition of vaccination certificates at all international venues, where he spoke for the past six months, in particular, the forum on Central and South Asia, the Central Asian Summit, as well as at the SCO and CIS summits.
