On the margins of the ministerial meeting of the countries participating in the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia in Nur-Sultan the Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov held talks with his Indian counterpart Subramaniam Jaishankar, the Uzbekistan Foreign Ministry said.
Reportedly, Subramaniam Jaishankar highly valued the current level of bilateral cooperation, especially noting their progressive and dynamic nature of development,.
The parties discussed the prospects for trade and economic cooperation in various fields, and thoroughly exchanged views on the situation in Afghanistan, including on the provision of humanitarian assistance to the country.
Subramaniam Jaishankar expressed readiness to continue to actively cooperate with Uzbekistan in the soonest establishment of a long-term and sustainable peace in Afghanistan.
