In 2021, the Japanese company Isuzu will halt production of 729 cars worldwide and switch over to more eco-friendly and comfortable configurations of the 700P generation.
Buses, trucks and special vehicles based on Isuzu chassis are being produced in Uzbekistan by the Samarkand Automobile Plant (SamAuto, SamAuto), the decision will affect the models of trucks NPR 66PB, NQR 71PL, FVR 33P and FVR 33G, as well as buses SAZ HC 40 (urban type ) and SAZ NP26 (suburban type).
The line produced by the plant already includes products of a new generation. Demand for buses will be met by the SAZ HC 45 and SAZ HD 50 models, both 700P generations. The design bureau of the plant is currently working on buses of the NS 42 and HC 43 models (suburban and urban types, respectively), the company said.
Ilkhom Yarashev, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales of SamAvto, noted that spare parts will be available for buyers and owners of 729 generation cars over the next 10 years. The plant made a large order in Japan for 1000 sets of components for this generation of machines.
Buses, trucks and special vehicles of the 700P generation have an improved braking system, improved ergonomics and design, air conditioning, electronic heated side mirrors and a central locking system.
