On September 21, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend the opening of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly online, announced the presidential spokesman Sherzod Asadov said.
The 76th session of the UN General Assembly opened on 14 September. The high-level event will take place from September 21 to 27. This year the session resumed its work in person. The leaders of 83 states, 43 heads of government and foreign ministers of 23 countries are expected to arrive in New York for the event.
The session focuses on topics such as preventing the COVID-19 pandemic, restoring resilience, responding to the needs of the planet, respecting human rights and reviving the UN.
