More than 1.2 million doses of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine and more than 600 thousand doses of AstraZeneca will be delivered to Uzbekistan in the coming days, the Ministry of Health said.
Currently, four types of vaccines are being used in the country: ZF-UZ-VAC2001, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Moderna. Thus, Pfizer / BioNTech will become the fifth vaccine to be offered to Uzbeks.
To date, 15.9 million doses of the vaccine have been used in Uzbekistan, with 2.7 million people fully vaccinated.
