Uzbekistan has suspended issuing electronic visas since September 6, the Foreign Ministry said on Monday. The reason is the maintenance work on the E-visa.gov.uz system. The date of their completion has not been specified.
E-visas are issued to citizens of states, with whom Uzbekistan has simplified entry visas procedure, has been established for tourists.
The E-visa.gov.uz system was launched in July 2018.
