On September 6, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working government meeting on the digital system with the participation of the Turkmen Deputy PM.
During the meeting, the Deputy PM reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work, as well as on preparations for the upcoming regular meeting of the joint Turkmen-Uzbek commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, the state news agency of Turkmenistan, Golden Age said.
After hearing the report and noting that Turkmenistan attached great importance to the comprehensive expansion of cooperation and good-neighborly relations with Uzbekistan, the Turkmen leader drew attention to the importance of proper preparation for the next meeting of the joint Turkmen-Uzbek commission, which plays a special role in building up a constructive dialogue with Uzbekistan.
“In this context, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy PM, to discuss with his Uzbek counterpart the issues and agreements that will form the agenda, and to agree on the holding next week of the upcoming meeting of the joint Turkmen-Uzbek commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. Noting that during the upcoming visit of the government delegation headed by the President of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan, the relevant documents will be signed on the agreements reached, the country's leader ordered to ensure a high organizational level of the planned international events.
